Reds loanee Ryan Williams enjoyed his second Yorkshire derby success at the weekend, as Barnsley triumphed 1-0 at Sheffield United.
The Australian, who recently extended his loan deal from Fulham for another month, caught up with Barnsley Player following the derby victory.
"It really shows that we've been working on it.
"I feel a lot sharper, a lot quicker and a lot stronger. There's a lot more to come from me.
"Barnsley have given me the opportunity to play week in, week out at a good level. At my age that's what you really need to do. At the moment, the opportunity at Fulham isn't there for me to do that so I've decided to stay an extra month."
