Reds Manager Danny Wilson caught up with Barnsley Player following today's 1-0 win at Sheffield United.
The Barnsley boss hailed his side's 'committed' display.
"I thought to come here and play in the manner that we did - and the pockets of football - was excellent at times," said Wilson. "The atmosphere here was fantastic for the players.
"Towards the back-end of the game we had to defend for our lives and we did that. We defended very, very well and the back-line was excellent.
"The strikers themselves worked their tails off to work back. Overall it was a tremendous display and a performance we had to have here.
"You don't just come here and believe you can play football and do nothing else. You have to defend for your lives."
Sam Winnall scored the winner on 56 minutes as he nodded home a Conor Hourihane corner.
"It was a tremendous goal," said Wilson. "It was a great ball in from Conor and he's put it on a sixpence. He's put a great header in. In between the goal and either side of it, there was some good football from both sides.
"We had a shade of luck here and there but there was some good goalkeeping too."
