Boakye-Yiadom and Digby on Target in Reserves' First Win

3 November 2014

Coventry City 1
Barnsley 2

Barnsley's Reserves recorded their first victory of the season at Coventry City this afternoon.

A spot-kick from Nana Boakyte-Yiadom and free-kick from Paul Digby sandwiched Coventry City's leveller.

Speaking to barnsleyfc.co.uk after the win, Assistant Manager Chris Hutchings said, "The boys have worked really, really hard for this.

"We defended well as a team and looked a threat for most of the game. Young Sam Hanna has come in from the (Under) 18s and he's done really well.

"It's a well-deserved victory."

Reds XI: Dibble, Towner, Smith, Hanna, Rumens, Abbott, Digby, Maris, Jennings, Oates, Boakye-Yiadom.
