There will be no shortage of footballing action as the FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil on Thursday 12th June through to the final on Sunday 13th July.
After the World Cup all eyes will be looking to the start of the new domestic season.
Here are some dates for all Barnsley fans to keep note of:
Wednesday 18th June
The league fixtures will be released on the Club website at 9am.
Saturday 26th July
Barnsley will play Hull City at Oakwell in a pre-season friendly. Kick-off 3pm.
Sunday 27th July
Barnsley FC will host the annual Open Day from 11am to 3pm.
Saturday 2nd August
Barnsley will play Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell in a pre-season friendly. Kick-off 1pm.
Saturday 9th August
