Barnsley Football Club is delighted to welcome yet another local company on-board as Britannia Drilling Limited become rear-shirt sponsors for the forthcoming 2014/15 season.
One of the leading diamond drilling services in the UK, Britannia Drilling have carried out work on behalf of many leading construction companies and local authorities, and will see their company name emblazoned below the rear collar from next season.
Kev Hardman, owner of Britannia Drilling, and Reds Chief Exec, Ben Mansford.
Kevin Hardman, owner of Britannia Drilling said, “I am honoured to have my company’s name on the back of the Barnsley shirt. I have followed the Club all my life and am fortunate to have been a match sponsor many times, but the opportunity to become one of the shirt sponsors is a dream fulfilled for myself.
“I feel it is important, as a local company, that Britannia Drilling is able to give its full backing to Barnsley Football Club and I am delighted we have been able to step up our involvement with the Club this season.”
Ben Mansford, Barnsley Football Club’s Chief Executive, added, “We are delighted to welcome Britannia Drilling on board for the new campaign as rear-shirt sponsors. Having already welcomed Kevin and his company to Oakwell as matchday sponsors in the past, we were extremely pleased to agree a shirt sponsorship deal which sees Britannia Drilling Ltd become our new rear-shirt sponsors for the first time.
“What’s even more satisfying than having a prestigious company on board who are leaders in their field, is the fact that they are a local company – something which the club are great advocates of.”
