Reds Manager Danny Wilson gave his thoughts on latest recruit Ryan McLaughlin, following the defender's loan move to Oakwell yesterday.
"Why did I sign him? He’s enthusiastic, quick, a very, very talented footballer for a young age," Danny told the press this morning. "He’s been on the radar for quite a while and I’m delighted Liverpool and Brendan (Rogers – Liverpool Manager) have let him come here."
The 19-year-old, who has represented Northern Ireland at Under 21 level, penned an initial 28-day loan at Oakwell yesterday. "Hopefully we can have him for longer than a month," added Danny. "He’s a fantastic young kid and I’m looking forward to working with him."
