Speaking to barnsleyfc.co.uk, Danny was disappointed for the travelling fans, "That's the hardest part. As players go, we get frustrated having prepared for an important game for both clubs. Equally in that, it's cost the fans a lot of money to come all the way down without any warning that it might be off. When it does happen like it has now, it's difficult to take.
"From our point of view, there's nothing we could have done. We had no prior warning. I only heard there would be an inspection at 11.35am this morning.
"We're just frustrated that we haven't had any prior warning to it, otherwise we maybe could have come down and looked at it at teatime yesterday.
"The lads were really ready for it and wanting to play. Unfortunately that frustration is there. You've got to turn it into a positive - we'll have a week without any injuries from today, which is the only positive you can take from it!"
