We are proud to announce a new Academy Sponsorship with local based company The Investment Room.
The sponsorship sees The Investment Room become the official sponsors of the Barnsley FC Academy after signing a long term sponsorship agreement.
Barnsley FC Commercial Sales Manager Linton Brown said: “We are thrilled and delighted to announce what is a fantastic new sponsorship for Barnsley Football Club Academy. Their business model is all around thinking of the future and ensuring a return on investment, the same principles and goals of our very own academy strive to achieve, through the future development of our local players. During our enjoyable discussions with Managing Director Lee Jones it was perfectly evident he cares passionately about Barnsley Football Club and is very excited at the prospect of being very much part of the future development of the academy and the club. The opportunity to align the Barnsley FC brand with The Investment Room is very exciting indeed and further evidence of our commercial strategy to develop and nurture positive long term relationships with reputable local companies and businesses.”
The Director of The Investment Room who has been a box holder for the past 4 years, namely, Dr Lee Jones, commented “It is a privilege to be able to invest in the future of Barnsley FC and witness and be a part of the exciting new talent that the academy is generating at present. Having been a fan since I was 4 years old, I have seen how the club has invested wisely into the youth schemes at the club and develop the amazing facilities currently present at Oakwell. I also feel extremely proud witnessing the emerging talent that the Barnsley FC academy has already produced with the likes of John Stones, Paul Digby & James Bree becoming excellent players for both club and country”.

The two and half year sponsorship of the Barnsley FC Academy will see The Investment Room brand on the academy shirts and extensive branding throughout and across the academy training facility, as well as a host of marketing and community development programmes.
