Barnsley's Under 18s came from behind to beat Nottingham Forest Under 18s on the Oakwell Academy pitch.
Matty Templeton smashed an 18-yard free-kick into the top corner before Billel Kassouri kept incredibly composed to notch the winner for Ronnie Branson's Reds.
Head of Academy Coaching, Mark Burton, said after the game, "Forest pressed us real well to be fair, but I was really impressed with how we dealt with it.
"They are a big, strong, physical side and we proved we are able to mix it up if we need to.
"I'll repeat myself from over the years - it's not all about the result. These lads are learning the game and we're pleased with the start we've had."
It's now two wins from the opening two games having beaten Bristol City last week, in Bristol, by three goals to two.
The Under 18s are next in action at home to Brentford on Saturday 30th August.
