Barnsley Manager Danny Wilson praised central-defender Jean-Yves M’voto after capping a man-of-the-match performance at Charlton off with a goal.

The towering centre-half, who joined the Reds from Oldham in the summer, powered home a first-half header as the Reds beat Charlton 2-1 at The Valley.“Jean’s been a revelation since he came in,” Wilson told Barnsley Player.

“You have to say well done to the big man, he’s deserved it.

“What he’s had is the support of the fans and certainly from his team mates. It’ll have done his confidence the world of good. To get the goal is the icing on the cake for him.”
