Fans of Barnsley Football Club can now play for life-changing sums of money while contributing towards the future success of the Tykes with the launch of an exciting new lotto game.
With the first draw this Saturday, 12th April 2014, Barnsley Lotto offers supporters the chance to win enormous cash prizes, starting with an estimated £3.3m jackpot this weekend. All of Barnsley’s proceeds will be assigned directly to its Academy.
The Academy's mission is to provide an environment at its Oakwell complex in which the potential stars of the future can express themselves and enjoy their football education.
Reds Chief Executive Ben Mansford said, “We are delighted to launch our new Lotto website. This is a fantastic new initiative that will benefit the Club whilst giving supporters opportunities to win some great prizes.
“We have chosen the Academy to benefit from monies raised from the new Lotto initiative, thereby helping the development of future talent for the Club.”

With draws every Wednesday and Saturday, Barnsley Lotto is based on a familiar lottery format and players over the age of 18 can sign up for single draws or on a subscription basis to ensure that they never miss their opportunity to win the jackpot. Prizes can be won by matching numbers from 1 to 49, plus a favourite Barnsley legend, from Ronnie Glavin to Arjan de Zeeuw.
