Barnsley’s new signing Peter Ramage caught up with Barnsley Player moments after penning a season-long loan at Oakwell.
“I’m really excited,” he said. “It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the last couple of hours, but I can’t wait to get going.
“I’ve been coming to Barnsley since I was 12 years old as a kid with Newcastle and it’s always been a hard place to come and play. I’ve never had much success here in terms of results but hopefully now I’m on the home side that continues for the opposition!
“I’m not going to tear up any tress with flicks and thrills and skills! I’m hard working, wear my heart on my sleeve and give 100 per cent both on and off the pitch.
“I’m fit, ready and raring to go.”
