The 18-year-old was introduced as a 58th-minute substitute in Estonia, as Noel Blake's side defeated Estonia 6-1 in the international friendly.
Speaking to barnsleyfc.co.uk, Digby said, "Coming on just wearing the shirt, you're representing your country and that's a massive honour. What with it being the first time, pulling on the shirt - it's the England shirt and it means so much to put it on!
"I can't really remember much, just little bits of the game. It went by pretty quick. You just get into football mode and play like any other game. I didn't change my game for it but England do play a different style to what I'm used to.
"International football is completely different. It was a massive experience and I'm extremely hopeful of being involved again next time."
