McNulty Joins Tranmere on Loan

Reds defender Jimmy McNulty has today joined Tranmere Rovers on a month's loan.

The 28-year-old teams up with League One Rovers - managed by Ronnie Moore - ahead of their match at Swindon Town on Saturday.

McNulty has made 61 appearances for the Reds since joining from Brighton in the summer of 2011 - with one of those appearances coming this season against Southampton in the Capital One Cup.
