Winter may be on its way but there’s no need to stay at home feeling blue, because the Reds might be popping into a Pub or Club near you soon!
Barnsley Football Club will kick off a series of Pub and Club visits in the near future to run throughout November and December. The Reds’ Chief Executive Ben Mansford, members of the first-team management staff and players will be on hand to chat with supporters in your local over a pint of your favourite tipple, alcoholic or not.
Ben said, “As the nights draw in and the days feel longer, I felt it would be good to take BFC and the football-related staff on the road to engage with supporters new and old in their local and discuss all things BFC in a relaxed atmosphere and environment. Selfishly, I am also looking forward to getting to know the area a little better and who serves the best pint of cask ale! I sincerely hope that everyone will support the evenings and venues and make the respective nights enjoyable and interactive.”
The tour kicks off this Thursday 7th November at Wombwell Cricket Club, from 7pm, and will include competitions and prize giveaways. Please contact the local venues for specific booking and capacity information.
