Incredible to a Man - Flitcroft

12 March 2013

Reds Manager David Flitcroft caught up with the press following tonight's clash against Brighton.

"We showed resilience, character and resolve," said Flitcroft.

"It was evident against Burnley and in the second half against Bolton. I wanted it for 95 minutes today.

"Every single player was incredible.

"Pride is what I’m feeling at the moment and a sense of the fight I’ve seen today from this group.

"The pressure on Daggers’ penalty was immense, I could feel that.

"I find it difficult to single anyone out because I look at the Chris O’Grady shift he put in. Martin Cranie and Scott Wiseman who have come up against a Brighton team with class.

"We’ve come a long way and I hope people do understand and realise that.

"We’ve got to win games, we know that."

Regarding potential recruits in the coming few days, Flitcroft added, "I’ll meet a couple of players over the next few games to see what we can do."
