Reds midfielder Jim O’Brien caught up with Barnsley Player from the club’s pre-season training camp in Spain.
“It’s tough but it’s always good to get away and get your mind set right,” said O’Brien of the training regime. “We’re enjoying it but it’s tough.
“We’ve been doing that (giving our all) since last season and beyond that. There’s no hiding place.
“We’re still riding the wave of last season. We’ve kept everyone we wanted to keep.
“There’s a great feeling about the town and I still get people stopping me in the street wanting to talk.
“It means a lot to everybody (staying up last season) – to local businesses and people, and people’s jobs are on the line.
“We need to go again this season.”
