Youngster pens new deal

Barnsley Football Club is delighted to announce Reuben Noble-Lazarus has penned an extension to his contract at Oakwell until June 30th, 2015.

The Academy graduate made his début as a 15-year-old back in September 2008, becoming the youngest ever player to feature in a football league match.

His first goal was the winner against Millwall on the closing day of the 2010/11 season, and scored his second of his career this season with a fine overhead attempt at Leicester.

The 19-year-old has started five times for the Reds, and made 25 appearances from the bench.
