Markstedt, 'Scots' & Steele

18 February 2013

The Reds v Wolves

Tomorrow night’s edition of The Reds celebrates the club’s Scot-tish connection, along with a feature on the best debuts to be had by Reds players.

We have exclusive interview with the new members of Barnsley FC’s coaching staff, Assistant Manager Micky Mellon and Technical Coach Martin Scott.

The duo tell The Reds of life in the dugout alongside David Flitcroft having overseen a dramatic turnaround of results.

Continuing our Scot-tish connection, we have two features with Jim O’Brien and his ever-growing love for the fans, and also words from the hot-shot striker himself, Jason Scotland.

In our best debuts feature, we have two more exclusive interviews with a current and former Tyke to have made their Reds bow in front of the famous Anfield Kop. Skipper Luke Steele tells us of his memories five years on from the incredible 2-1 win in the FA Cup at Anfield, and former defender Peter

Markstedt casts his mind back even further – back to 1997 – to remember his top-flight and Reds debut, as he helped Danny Wilson’s side pinch a 1-0 win.

We’ve also included all of your photos and messages in fanzone, and also have bags of celebratory photos from our recent away day victories.

There’s also all you need to know about the big match stats heading into the crunch clash with Wolves.
