Flitcroft on Wolves Win

19 February 2013

Reds Manager David Flitcroft caught up with the press following today’s 2-1 win over Wolves.

“The run’s just starting now,” said Flitcroft. “We want to keep climbing and climbing.

“We’re looking up and we keep looking up at those teams above us.

“These players deserve to look at the table and not be in the bottom three. If we get beat there’ll be no panic. We just need to stay focused. The positivity is incredible around this place at the moment.

“The last 20 minutes of the first half was exciting. The second half had everything. Every man has played their part – all 14 players. I keep saying to the players that it’ll be difficult for anyone playing against us because we’ve got 14 against 11.

“It was important we got to one-all, then I felt we would have the momentum.

“When you get Jason Scotland on, there’s a threat there and there’s a fear there because teams fear him.

“They’re strong this group of men. It’s a galvanised unit and they’ll be difficult to stop.”
