Reds boss pleased

“Reuben has got natural clever movement as a player and I feel there will be goals in him and he will also create goals for others,” Flitcroft told barnsleyfc.co.uk.

Reds Manager David Flitcroft was delighted to see youngster Reuben Noble-Lazarus pen a contract extension at Oakwell earlier today, and has tipped the 19-year-old to be a success in the future.

“He has come a long way this season and has learnt a lot. Reuben is certainly a player with potential and we are starting to see some of that coming through as he continues to mature and his understanding of what I want and need in a player grows.

“Reuben has been working hard under the guidance of Guy Proctor and he has accepted the drills and programme that have been put in place to help build him up as a player for the future.

“Patience is needed as together we build Reuben up to play men’s football in an outstanding league.”
