Barnsley Under 18s' Youth Cup campaign kicks off tomorrow as the young Reds play host to Newcastle United at Oakwell Stadium.

Head of Academy Coaching Mark Burton is preparing the youngsters for a tough test against the Magpies.

“We’ve played some good stuff and the kids haven’t been rewarded in recent matches, but they have to accept that," he said. "They need to keep it up, it’s a tough ask against Newcastle where we need to bring our ‘A’ game and be at it from minute one."

The match kicks off at 7pm and admission is available via the West Stand only, priced at £1 per person and proceeds to Barnsley Hospice.
