The former Chelsea man picked up his fifth booking of the campaign against Leeds United and will miss the Boxing Day clash against Bolton.

Meanwhile, on-loan Forest striker Marcus Tudgay will miss the rest of his loan spell at Oakwell as he is set to serve a three-match ban for his dismissal at Elland Road.
