Reds midfielder Tomasz Cywka notched yet another outstanding goal for Barnsley, incidentally against his former club in Derby County yesterday.
But it wasn't enough for the Polish winger, who would rather score ‘ugly goals’ that ‘win points’, as he explained yesterday.
“It gave us a boost,” said Tomasz of his goal. “We pressed them after a goal trying to get a second one.
“The last 20 minutes showed that we can do it.
“Everything goes so quick on the pitch you can’t really think about it. I took my chance and it went in. But I would rather score an ugly goal that would get us some points over a nice goal.
“It’s a big shame we didn’t get a second one and get a point from the game.
“All of the lads believe we can get out of it. We definitely believe we can do it again. We were in a similar situation last season and all the lads know with their experience what it takes.”
