Pedersen Pleased With Win

31 August 2013

Reds striker Marcus Pedersen opened his account today with a fine finish against Huddersfield Town.

The Norwegian took an excellent first touch before turning and tucking home Barnsley's second, helping his side to a 2-1 victory.

"It was very important win and very nice to score a goal," he said.

"I like to be in the box and get to crosses, I had a good touch then it should be goal when you have a good touch.

"It was very aggressive and high pressure, just what I like.

"I’m very pleased today.

"Chris (O'Grady) is a great player to play beside. He’s very strong and he keeps the ball and I go in behind.

"We showed today that we keep on fighting."
