'Masterclass in Quality' - Flitcroft

1 April 2013

Reds Manager David Flitcroft caught up with the press following today's win over Leicester City.

“Without Kasper in goal for them today it could have been six or seven,” said Flitcroft.

“On a pitch that’s difficult to play football on, we popped it about and gave them more problems than they’ve probably had all season.

“This is a very good football team we’ve come up against and they gave us a little bit of a fight in the last 20 minutes. Their team is full of top, top players but all I can see is a quality display from my players.

“This team’s beaten very good football teams in the Championship and we’ll have to continue to do that in this fight.

“The movement was from another planet at times.

“Clean sheet and two goals against a team that’s not conceded more than one in a match all season.

“They can’t let me down this group.

“I’m not going to look at the table, we’ll see where we turn out.

“It was a masterclass in quality, movement and precision passing.”
