Flitcroft's Reaction

13 April 2013

"We weren't solid enough and we paid the price," said Flitcroft.

Reds Manager David Flitcroft caught up with the press following today's 6-0 defeat to Charlton.

"We've got beaten by a team that were better than us on the day and we couldn't cope with them.
"We've got Cranes (Martin Cranie) back for Tuesday, I would have put him on today but we wanted to give him the extra few days."

As well as losing Tom Kennedy and Stephen Dawson, defender Stephen Foster suffered a calf strain and will be out of Tuesday's clash with Derby.

"The fans in two years I've been here were the best they've been. Wow, they've had to endure some hard moments in that game. It was heartbreaking at times. They clapped us off at 2-0 and stayed with us throughout the game. Singing at the end, they were absolutely amazing. There'll be something positive around the corner after we've reflected on today."

"I've no complaints about the referee or how he did his job.
