Hill on 5-0 win

Speaking to Barnsley Player, Keith said: “I was really frustrated and angry about the result on Tuesday but tonight we’ve got the result to match the performance.

Reds Manager Keith Hill gave his thoughts after seeing his side destroy Birmingham at St Andrew’s.

“It’s my squad and we’ve done a lot of spade work. We’re not there yet. There’ll be more changes but it was a great performance matched with a great result. I’m really pleased for the players.

“Nobody can take anything away from us.

“I always appreciate the fans singing my name because there’s times when i wouldn’t be singing it!"

“The supporters have been magnificent. They’ve witnessed tonight what we’re capable and they did on Tuesday but we didn’t get our rewards.

“It’s just one game, we’re seven games in and we can’t get too carried away.”
