Hill Pleased With Reuben Revival

29 November 2012

Reds boss on Reuben Noble-Lazarus

“Like I’ve previously said he’s probably been some dark places over the last 12 months,” said Hill.

Reds boss Keith Hill has put young forward Reuben Noble-Lazarus’ recent return to the side down to ‘hard work’ and ‘belief' after the 19-year-old started only his fourth senior match against Burnley and put in an impressive display.

“He’s got the talent. He’s got a game-understanding that is natural, we’ve got to try and nurture that but his function for the team has improved on the training pitch. That was reflected out on the pitch over the 90 minutes (against Burnley).

“Reuben’s bounced and I’m really pleased for him. He’ll continue to bounce and if he carries on he’ll bounce himself into the Premier League.

“He's an excellent prospect.”
