Jonathan Greening signs on loan



He then moved to the Hawthorns with West Brom in 2004 and helped the Baggies claim the 2008 Championship title – totalling over 200 appearances for West Brom, he then moved on to Fulham before re-joining his former boss at the City Ground at the start of last season. 

The Scarborough-born midfielder started his career with York City as a trainee before heading to Manchester United despite only starting 26 times for the Minstermen. He made the switch to Old Trafford in 1998 before switching to Middlesbrough in 2001 to team up with Steve McClaren. In three years at the Riverside he won Player of the Year as well as a call-up to the England senior side. 

The 33-year-old, who boasts a tremendous amount of Premier League experience, has signed on loan from Nottingham Forest until January 2nd, 2013. 

Jonathan Greening has become the third new arrival at Oakwell in the space of a week after penning a loan deal with the Reds today. 

Jonathan has been handed the number 28 shirt at Oakwell.
