Trio Missing For Millwall Trip

20 December 2012

Mellis, Buzsaky and Noble-Lazarus doubts

Reds Manager Keith Hill is without influential midfield trio Jacob Mellis, Akos Buzsaky and Reuben Noble-Lazarus ahead of Saturday's trip to face Millwall.

Mellis is still suffering from a dead leg, whilst Buzsaky and Noble-Lazarus are suffering with hamstring and ankle problems, respectively.

Barnsley boss Keith Hill told the press this morning, "Akos is a little sore and Reuben has turned his ankle, so we will monitor their progress over the next week or so."

Last Saturday saw David Perkins spring from the bench to boss the midfield and impress against the Owls but is still in rehab for his hamstring injury.

"We need David's energy in midfield," said Hill. "It's a shame we haven't had him in the side regularly over the past 18 months."

Watch out for Keith's views on Millwall later on www.barnsleyfc.co.uk.
