Midfielder on Millwall and more
Reds midfielder David Perkins is hopeful his relocation to Barnsley will help ease any injury concerns. The midfield dynamo has struggled of late with a hamstring problem but is sure less travel time will ease any problems.
“I’ve moved across to Barnsley now, hopefully there’ll be less injuries. I felt it had to be done for my football.
“We need points and quite a few of them, no matter how we do it.
“How we didn’t win the game or even get something out of the game against Sheffield Wednesday, I don’t know how that happened.
Hopefully back in the starting XI this weekend, the 30-year-old is sure the team’s performances will be rewarded with maximum points.
I can spend a bit longer at the club after training, there’s no rush to get off now.”
“We’re all right behind Keith,” added Perkins.
“I don’t think our away form’s been too bad. Millwall are going strong but all the lads believe we can get three points on Saturday.
“Performances have been there, just not her results, we just need to pick up the points.”
