Reds new boys sets challenge

“I usually play on the wing or behind the striker, I’m an offensive player and I’m looking to have a shot or slip it through to the striker. That’s my target is to get some goals or to assist our strikers.”

“My last game was back in April so it’s quite a while. I’ve been getting ready on my won but it’s not the same as getting 90 minutes on the pitch.

“We lost (against Crewe), it’s never nice to lose but it’s good to play a proper game. I’ve got my first game under my belt – 90 minutes – I’m happy and I’ll just keep going.

Polish winger Tomasz Cywka told the press he was delighted to join Keith Hill’s side after penning a one-year deal at Oakwell. Speaking after the friendly at Crewe’s Gresty Road, Cywka said: “I was really pleased when I got the call from the club. It’s an established club in the league. I talked to the gaffer and signed a deal, I’m happy to be here.
