PLAYERS SCORE VISIT TO BUILDING SOCIETY BRANCH

BARNSLEY FC fans young and old are in for a summer holiday treat next week as five top flight Reds players will be attending a new kind of fixture - a visit to club sponsors Barnsley Building Society's town centre branch on Cheapside.

Club Captain Stephen Foster will join John Macken, Anderson De Silva, Hugo Colace and recent signing from Liverpool Adam Hammil at the branch on Cheapside from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Tuesday 1st September, to have a chat, sign autographs and have photographs taken with supporters.

The event is a great opportunity for Reds Savers to get a different kind of signature on their passbooks when they call in to update their accounts!

Mike Fisher, manager of the branch said: "We're delighted to be welcoming the Barnsley FC players to our branch and we're looking forward to hearing the inside news on next Saturday's game against Watford.

"This is a great opportunity for fans young and old to call in and meet their footballing heroes and wish them well for the rest of the season!"
