REDS RECEIVE ALMOST £58,000 FROM BARNSLEY BUILDING SOCIETY

BARNSLEY Football Club received a bumper cheque worth almost £58,000 from Barnsley Building Society during half time at Oakwell today.

The cheque represented the Club's annual payment from the Reds Saver account scheme, run by our Affinity Partner and Main Club Sponsor, and is worth £57,676.00. Barnsley Building Society pays the Club an annual bonus amount, equivalent to one per cent of the average daily balances held within the account as a whole.

Barnsley Football Club also received a cheque for £926.00 as an affinity payment from the Junior Reds Saver Account, launched in the summer of 2008 with all money going towards youth development at Oakwell.
