THIS week sees our national teams taking on opponents from the rest of the World in a series of friendlies.
Wales take on Georgia, it's Scotland versus Northern Ireland, and the Czech Republic team are paying a visit to Wembley to take on the England team. In recent years the Czech Republic has become a popular destination for British travellers looking for a weekend away.
Charismatic Prague is a living museum and one of Europe's most attractive cities.
Eating out is a relatively cheap and easy affair, even around the tourist areas. Make sure that you sample Czech beer, too, as it makes a refreshing accompaniment!
Prague Castle, the most popular tourist attraction in the city, must be at the top of any visitor's agenda, although with so many things to see and do it would be almost impossible to cram everything into one trip. Museums and galleries are scattered throughout the city. Elsewhere entertainment is plentiful at Charles Bridge. For a completely jam-packed holiday, sample the nightlife as well as the culture by choosing from a selection of casinos, bars, and clubs with live music where you can dance the night away.
