BARNSLEY Football Club confirmed the signing of highly-rated Argentine frontman Jeronimo Morales Neumann on a one-year contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months in July 2010.
The 24-year-old started his career with River Plate before joining San Lorenzo in 2007. He then made the move to Instituto de Cordoba and his nine goals in 21 league matches during the 2008/2009 campaign caught the eye of Argentine giants Estudiantes La Plata. Jeronimo featured for Estudiantes throughout the 2009/2010 Primera División de Argentina season as well as in the Copa Libertadores - the South American Champions League - as his side looked to defend their title.
