JAMIL burst onto the scene at the end of the 20072008 campaign when he was handed his first team debut as a 17-year-old against Cardiff City.
He showed a lot of promise during his brief cameo at Ninian Park and is definitely one for the future at Oakwell. A talented striker with an eye for goal. Jamil was again in top form for the Academy and reserves through 2008/2009 and again earned international recognition, this time with the Irish U19s. He made one appearance for the first team - as a sub at West Ham in the FA Cup.
Jamil again made progress at Oakwell during 2009/2010 and won international caps for Ireland's U19 side. However, the lack of a reserve team meant his opportunities to impress were limited and he added just a further senior appearance to histally.
