BARNSLEY Football Club completed the signing of striker Kim Christensen from Danish Super Ligaen side OB in August 2007.
The 27-year-old frontman has agreed a two-year contract at Oakwell and the Club are hopeful Kim can be registered with the Football Authorities in time for this weekend's trip to Colchester United. The 6'2" hitman has today moved to Oakwell after the Club agreed an undisclosed fee with OB.
He joined Brondby in 2005 before signing for Danish rivals OB at the start of the 2006/2007 campaign. He has his five goals in 26 games for the club, including two in a UEFA Cup game against St Patricks earlier this month.
A former Danish U21 international, Kim notched up nine caps at that level between 2000 and 2001, netting one goal.
Kim endured a frustrating debut season at Oakwell as he spent most of the time playing for the reserves. Although a regular scorer for the second string, his chances for the first team were limited and he bagged one goal in 13 games.
