FOSTER RELISHING CARROW ROAD CLASH

Posted on: Wed 08 Sep 2010

REDS defender Stephen Foster is looking forward to Saturday's trip to Norwich City.

"It is a big game for us after what has been a decent start to the new season. It could have been even better had we got the win we deserved at Bristol City but Norwich have been going well too after losing their opening match. It is a good test and one we are very much looking forward to", Stephen told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk.

"Carrow Road is always a good place to go and play. The pitch is always perfect and it is almost always a full house. They are passionate fans there as well and it is a game I am personally really looking forward to.

"Confidence is high at the moment on the back of two good home wins and, what will prove to be, a very good point at Bristol even if we were disappointed at the time. We went away from home and scored three goals and we have to take a lot of confidence from that into Saturday's game at Norwich City. We have to get back to keeping a clean sheet away from home and that is all important from my point of view. You need to be tight at the back when you are away from home".

"We have been match sponsors numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality that Barnsley Football Club offer. We would have no hesitation in recommending businesses to take advantage of a sponsorship package this season. Since getting involved with Barnsley FC the awareness of our business has risen significantly."
