MIDDLESBROUGH boss Gordon Strachan gave his thoughts following last weekend's defeat at Oakwell.
Strachan told www.mfc.co.uk: "It's frustrating that we took nothing from a game when we've created so many chances. We created a lot more chances than we have in the first few games but we didn't take them and that's the difference in football. Tarmo was getting in positions and getting the shots in and Kris has had chances too but their keeper made some good saves, he should he pleased with himself.
"Scoring goals and giving the ball away. If you do that then you're going to bring pressure on yourselves. The biggest thing is being able to pass the ball. We conceded the second goal when we were chasing the game. I'm not so bothered about that goal though I am concerned about one or two things that happened in the game.
"It was a dreadful game against Sheffield United last week but we won it so people were happy, though I wasn't happy. We played much better today but didn't win, which is disappointing. Life's not good to us at the moment, it hurts but it's character-building."
"We have been match sponsors numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality that Barnsley Football Club offer. We would have no hesitation in recommending businesses to take advantage of a sponsorship package this season. Since getting involved with Barnsley FC the awareness of our business has risen significantly."
