SUPPORTERS are advised that at the end of all games this season; exit from the car park will be via the bottom two gates onto Pontefract Road and Grove Street.

Please use the left hand exit gate near to the new apartments to turn left towards Cundy Cross and use the bottom right hand gate onto Grove Street to turn right onto Pontefract Road towards the town centre. The middle exit gate and the top exit gate will be closed after the game.

Reasons;

All traffic exiting in one direction will result in less pedestrian and vehicle conflict in the car park

Grove Street will run more freely, enabling residents and the emergency services access to properties in the area, which in the past has been impossible

Some motorists have habitually caused problems on Grove Street by unlawfully driving on the wrong side of the road, effectively turning it into a one -way street. This can be deemed to be dangerous driving and the Police may consider taking action which could result in prosecution proceedings.

There is a requirement under the emergency services stadium evacuation plan to maintain access to the stadium until spectators have fully dispersed.
