JERONIMO OPENS HIS ACCOUNT AT BUXTON

REDS new boy Jeronimo Morales Neumann celebrated his permanent deal with Barnsley by grabbing his first goal for the Club in last night's pre-season draw at Buxton.

Jeronimo was one of a handful of first-teamers in action at Silverlands and put a young Reds side into the lead with a well-taken finish. Buxton levelled things up late in the game as the Reds rang the changes.

Reds boss Mark Robins told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "It was a young side and it was a decent work out for them in difficult conditions".
