SKY Sports have selected two Carling Cup Round One matches to be televised during the first week of the new season.

Stevenage will make their debut in the competition in front of the cameras when they host Portsmouth at Broadhall Way on Monday August 9th, kick off 7.45pm.

Just 24 hours later the TV cameras will be at the b2net Stadium for Chesterfield's Round 1 match with Middlesbrough. The match will be the Spireites second game at their new home, as they kick-off their npower League 2 campaign with a visit from Barnet.
