ALL WHITES GO HOME WITH THEIR HEADS HELD HIGH

Posted on: Thu 24 Jun 2010

It was World Cup heartbreak for New Zealand this afternoon as the All Whites just could not find the goal that would have sent them through to the last 16.

Ex-Reds Rory Fallon and Leo Bertos started the goalless draw with Paraguay which means New Zealand finish third in the group but managed to get through against Slovenia, Italy and the South Americans undefeated.

Paraguay and Slovenia go through to the next round.
