THE FA can today announce the agreement of a one-year extension with energy provider E.ON, as sponsors of The FA Cup.

Following four very successful seasons as FA Cup sponsor, the deal allows E.ON to continue their involvement in football at all levels of the game, as they also continue as sponsor of The FA Women's Cup, The FA Youth Cup and The FA Schools Partner.

Alex Horne, General Secretary of The FA, said: "E.ON have been a great partner for The FA Cup and we are delighted they are extending the relationship a further year. This arrangement fits neatly with our overall sponsorship plans."
