MOORE AGREES TO JOIN BURTON

Posted on: Mon 10 May 2010

DEFENDER Darren Moore has agreed to join League Two side Burton Albion.

The veteran stopper, who has not been offered a new deal to stay at Oakwell beyond the summer, has made the move to the Pirelli Stadium after the remainder of his contract at Oakwell was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 36-year-old joined the Reds in 2008 and has clocked up 76 appearances in the last two seasons.

Barnsley Football Club would like to thank Darren for his services and wish him every success in the future.
