POST MATCH REACTION FROM OAKWELL

Posted on: Sat 10 Apr 2010

REDS Assistant Manager John Breckin gave his thoughts following today's draw at Oakwell.

John said: "It was a very hard one today. Derby came and had done their homework on us so they put five across the middle and it was a typical end of season game really. We have to take the positives from every game and we kept a clean sheet without Derby really troubling us and picked up a point.

"When we came here we were seven points from safety and we have worked hard to claw that around. We are nearly there now and safety is in sight so that is another positive.

"Iain Hume's wife went into labour this morning so he was missing. We were lacking in the final third today and I do not think we would have scored if we were still playing tomorrow.

"The job is not done yet and we have three matches remaining. We have not lost in four matches and we would rather look at the positives and we want to pick up some wins and finish as high as we possible can".
