POST MATCH REACTION FROM THE LIBERTY STADIUM

Posted on: Sun 18 Apr 2010

BARNSLEY manager Mark Robins gave his thoughts following today's defeat at Swansea City.

Mark said: "We really did not deserve anything from today. I think a lot of people are content with what we have achieved this season - I'm not.

"I cannot wait until the end of the season. There is a mentality at this football club where people think the job is done when we have achieved safety. That is what has happened.

"Just surviving in this league is not good enough. It is not good enough for me, the owner or the supporters.

"We have not given value for money for the last ten or 15 matches and that is disappointing. There is a lot of work to be done in the summer and I have told the players that there are two matches left now so don't let them be their last for this football club.

"It is a massive achievement to do what we have done this season but that cannot be it. I am looking for them to show a desire to stay at this club in the last two matches of the season".
