REDS manager Mark Robins gave his thoughts ahead of the trip to Ashton Gate.
Mark told Barnsley Player: "Things should be ok for the game. Bobby Hassell has had an x-ray but that has shown just a sprained wrist. That is disappointing because it could have been avoided. Those pits at Ipswich are dangerous but thankfully there is no damage because it could have been serious.
"Hopefully we will have Rob Kozluk back in with us later this week and Adam Hammill should be fit for Saturday. There is also the loan deadline coming up on Thursday so we will have to wait and see how we are injury and suspension-wise after Tuesday night.
"Luke (Steele) has taken responsibility for the goal at Ipswich but I have to say that he did not put a foot wrong after that. I think that just shows what a strong character he is.
"My players have shown great character, mental strength and resolve this season to climb the league table and we now want some more consistency. We have a lot of matches coming up in a short space of time and we want to pick up some more points.
"We cannot rest on our laurels. What's gone has gone and we know that we have to better that if we are to progress.
"I spent a month on loan at Bristol City and I know it is a big club with a big fan base. They have just changed their manager and they played well on Saturday. They changed a few things both players and formation-wise against Newcastle and we will have to wait and see how they go on Tuesday.
"It will be a tough match and they have some good players but we also know that we can beat anyone in this league on our day. We do not want to lose two matches on the trot. We have to be right and go there with belief and purpose. If we do that and play to our potential then we can take the points. It is all about what we do".
